The UNICEF Masquerade Ball

Tickets are pricy for this event, beginning at $175.00 a pop, but it’s for a noble cause: raising emergency funds for UNICEF and empowering Syrian refugee women in Jordan. The upscale soiree is a sophisticated affair held at the Clifton’s Republic, where you and your guests can dance all night long, drink champagne, and enjoy an open bar. The party takes place on Friday, October 27th at 9:00pm.

West Hollywood Halloween Costume Carnaval

The West Hollywood Halloween Costume Carnaval is an enormous Halloween street party held from 6:00pm to 11:00pm on the night of October 31st that draws in as many as half a million attendees. This is not a family-friendly Halloween in LA event, but if you and your guests are up for dressing in your Halloween best and drinking and dancing the night away, this party is where it’s at. Admission is free and open to the public. While alcohol isn’t allowed in the street, the bars nearby will host parties and drink specials right alongside the incredible event, which even has live music and food trucks.

Santa Monica Zombie Crawl

A pub crawl with a Halloween twist: participants have to dress and act like zombies, right down to their walk and their talk—or rather, grunts and growls! Bars throughout the Santa Monica area will be participating, offering $4.00 drafts and $5.00 well drinks and shots. Tickets are $12.00 if purchased in advance or $15.00 on the day-of, on October 28th.

Halloween Horror Nights

Universal Studios experiences an outbreak of monsters each Halloween, with the iconic theme park transforming into a series of mazes, scare zones, and the Terror Tram. See characters from iconic horror movies and television shows, including The Shining, Saw, American Horror Story, The Walking Dead, and more. The event takes place from mid-September through early November. Discounts are available on certain days; it’s recommended that tickets be purchased in advance.

Cabaret de L’Enfer

Held at The Edison in historic downtown L.A., Cabaret de L’Enfer is an underground Halloween dance party and live performance event that infuses a vintage vibe into your celebrations.
