Visit an Art Museum

Los Angeles has no shortage of world-class art museums, and these large cultural institutions are the perfect place to spend a rainy day. The Broad is Los Angeles’s newest contemporary art museum, located on Grand Avenue in the heart of downtown. The museum has more than 2,000 pieces of work from international and American artists and the building itself is a piece of art. Designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro, a design firm in New York, the $140 million building looks like nothing you’ve ever seen before. The best part about this museum is that admission is free. Some of the city’s other popular art museums include the Museum of Contemporary Art, the Grammy Museum, and the Japanese American National Museum.
