The Los Angeles community knows good food. It is easy to find amazing locally owned restaurants or food trucks around the city that specialize in tasty dishes that cannot be passed on. If you are a self-claimed foodie or just a fan of trying out local food, make sure you check out the LA Food Fest, going down this fall in Los Angeles. This annual event brings together some of the best food from around the city in one location for your consumption. Make sure you to bring your stretchy pants and chow down on some great dishes.
The Line Up
Of course, the most important aspect of any food festival is the lineup of local chefs and restaurants that are set to bring their dishes. Local favorite chefs including Dante Ferrero, Paul Bentley, Matteo Salas, and Olivier Deboise among others are excited to be sharing their exquisitely designed plates with all the attendees. Individual restaurants and food trucks will have specific items available for your consumption during this event.
Local favorite Barcito will be bringing their delicious artichoke empanadas, and you can also enjoy Ceviche Stop’s Peruvian ceviche and Cousins Maine Lobster’s freshly flown-in lobster rolls. Not all of the food options will be your typical lunch or dinner fare. Many local businesses will be on site with their breakfast and dessert options. The list is nearly endless with all of the plates you can enjoy. Not only will there be food, but freshly prepared coffee, Boba tea, cold press beverages, and more to keep your thirst quenched between each dish.
Bars and Brews
Not only will the LA Food Fest be serving up freshly prepared food dishes, but many of the city’s favorite bars and breweries will also be on hand serving up cold glasses of beer. Several of the attending breweries include local favorites Baja Brewing, The Dudes Brewery, Los Angeles Ale Works, Smog City Brewing Co., and many more. If beer isn’t your drink of choice, check out the spirits bars, including Ventura Spirits and Block Party (Jason Eisner) or one of the many wine bars. You will be sure to find a libation for you at the LA Food Fest.
