A Star-Studded Christmas Celebration
With a who’s who cast of parade grand marshals and a long history of putting on an incredible parade for locals and visitors alike, the Hollywood Christmas Parade is quite the holiday tradition. The parade showcases balloons, floats, bands, celebrities, and equestrians that make their way in a U-shaped pattern from Hollywood and Orange to Sunset and Orange, with a special guest appearance from Santa at the end of each parade.
Seats in the grandstands can be purchased for $45.00 to $85.00 depending on what kind of view you want of the parade and how close you want to be, with money from the proceeds contributed to Toys for Tots. Discounts are available for groups of 25 or more people. Free seating along the curbside of the parade path is also available.
Parking is restricted during the Hollywood Christmas Parade, so it’s recommended that visitors park at a public parking lot, such as the Hollywood and Highland shopping complex. Alternatively, you can take the Metro Red Line to get to the parade. A pre-parade concert for ticket-holders starts at 5:00pm, while the parade starts at 6:00pm.
