Here are some activities you should be sure to check out during your Thanksgiving in Los Angeles.

Holiday Shopping in Los Angeles

There is plenty of shopping in Los Angeles, from boutiques to high-end fashion and local artisan goods. Crafted at the Port of Los Angeles is a handmade artisan marketplace that is open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. You can browse the booths and find some special gifts for your holiday shopping. The booths at the market sell everything from bath and beauty products to plants, toys, games, and ceramics. Eating is definitely not the only thing you can do during Thanksgiving in Los Angeles, because shopping is another option too!

The Craft and Folk Art Museum also puts on a holiday market every year on the Saturday and Sunday after Thanksgiving in Los Angeles. Called Handmade LA, the market features one-of-a-kind craft and design pieces by local artists. Handmade LA is held at the Craft and Folk Art Museum and is free to attend.

Thanksgiving Dinner

If grocery shopping, cooking, and cleaning don’t sound appealing to you on your relaxing vacation then take your family to one of the many restaurants in Los Angeles offering Turkey Day specials.

West Hollywood’s famous English pub The Pikey will be open for a Thanksgiving feast from 1 p.m. – 2 a.m. Their dinner features more classic Thanksgiving dishes like roasted turkey, scalloped potatoes, cheddar biscuits, and of course pumpkin pie for dessert. Dinner is served at a fixed price.

If you are looking for a more high-end dining experience, then consider making a reservation at Barton G. Their three-course Thanksgiving dinner gives a whimsical twist on the traditional Thanksgiving meal. The dinner features dishes such as their parsnip potato mash and roasted Brussels sprouts with pistachio crumble and candied yams.
